Toes in the sand,
Sitting holding you hand.
Staring into your eyes.
Water crashing and dimming skies.
Perfect setting for a new journey,
With someone sweeter than honey.
I imagine her lips taste amazing,
At her body I couldn’t stop gazing.
Should I push forward,
Doubt is only for a coward.
I moved in for a kiss.
Happy my lips she didn’t dismiss.
Something that I’ve wanted to do,
Since I’ve laid eyes on you.
While I was waiting to park,
To date you on the beach before dark.
Whether on shore or land,
You never let go of my hand.
Knee deep standing in shallow water,
I couldn’t take my eyes off of her.
It was how I imagined it would be.
Even when I protected you from that bee.
An adventure that I’ve craved,
My emotions were ready to cave.
I hope that you’re in my future.

What do I have to do,
To make this work,
We love eachother,
But our pasts lurk.
The presence of our pasts,
Interferes with our happiness.
What we have together is strong,
Our problems shows weakness.
We want things out way,
But we don’t want to compromise.
I we don’t make changes,
It’ll be our relationship’s demise.
None of us want that.
We say this all the time,.
We may be in a rut,
But from this we can climb.

5 yrs ago, I saw your face.
It was a sign full of grace.
Your smile lit up the room,
While I stood next to the bride and groom.
You ran through my heart in heels,
While the caterer were prepping the meals.
The wedding party was lively and joyous,
And your words were like an angelic chorus.

Up late,
Wide awake.
Mind racing,
Slow down for goodness sake.
Missing that girl,
That fucked up my life.
Sadly to say,
I wished she was my wife.
Things got heated,
Like no A/C in the summer.
Didn’t work out,
2020’s biggest blunder.
Every free minute I have,
She’s on my mind.
Gotta get focused,
Because a new destiny I have to find.

When I said I love you,
I meant it.
When I said I’ll always have your back,
I meant it.
When I said that no matter what I’ll be there for you,
I meant it.
When I said that it was only you,
I meant it.
When I said that I’ll take care of you,
I meant it.
My actions showed to you that,
I meant it.

When you said you love me,
Did you mean it?
When you said that you’ll never leave me,
Did you mean it?
When you said that you have my back,
Did you mean it?
When you said that you will give me all of you,
Did you mean it?
When you cheated on me,
Did you mean?
Your actions showed that,
You didn’t mean any of it.

Depression comes with frustration.
Am I frustrated because things didn’t go my way?
Am I frustrated because of how I look?
Am I frustrated because no one cares what I have to say?
Everyone has questions and internal struggle.
Sometimes it’s just difficult to get out of bed to deal with shit.
We’re all built the same but deal with things differently.
Some eat, some smoke, some exercise, some use charm and wit.
But these things don’t last for long.
Stay the course, keep moving forward, keep your head high.
Don’t give up, don’t quit, don’t decide to end it early.
Someone out there loves you, and will help you try.

I walked in this fete,
Rain falling during Machel set,
and everything wet.
I saw the baddest island breezy,
Wining alone in her Mamamoon tee,
Rotating anti clockwise her bamsee.
All d fellas standing, looking for a wine,
Madman like me jump de line,
To theif the greatest wine.
Sweat soaking up my shirt,
Song instructed we to wine down to the dirt.
I so low that my knee started to hurt.
We still wining after 2 songs past,
My heart beating really fast,
As I start to think forever this could last.
Hey Choppi come on with Captain,
Her waist is the ship I trying to maintain,
So excited, pants get a wet stain.
